Volunteer at the NC Hot Sauce Festival!

Dear High School Students,

City of Oxford, NC is gearing up for our 20th Annual Hot Sauce Contest and Festival, taking place on September 11th and 12th. We would like to invite your students to participate as volunteers at this year’s upcoming festival! This annual community event brings together local businesses, vendors, families, and visitors for a weekend of food, entertainment, and community celebration.

We are seeking enthusiastic students to assist with a variety of volunteer roles, including:

• Set-up/unload assistant
• Street ambassador 
• Green team: recycle and trash
• Breakdown assistant
• Hospitality attendant

Volunteering is a great opportunity for students to:

• Earn community service hours
• Develop leadership and teamwork skills
• Gain event management experience
• Give back to the local community
• Meet new people in a fun and positive environment
